Desirags presents the original Indian Guru - Maharishi Yogi. A man with charisma, energy and untold riches he was of course credited for setting millions on the path to spiritual enlightenment through the 'power of Om'. The Maharishi spread the teachings of Transcendental Meditation throughout the world and he stated that they could be practised by anyone to reach a 'state of pure consciousness' and gain deep rest - now there's an excuse for those lie-ins we all crave!! He also advocated group meditation and said that it could be used to create world peace and end poverty.
