What t-shirts do you use?
We only print our designs on American Apparel Tees. Here take a look,

They are the softest, smoothest, best-looking t-shirts available anywhere and not only are they made of 100% fine jersey cotton but they are also cut to provide a more fitted and flattering style and that's why we don't use any cheap 'one size fits all' work-wear type brands that aren't designed for fashion purposes. American Apparel t-shirts are also produced sweatshop-free - no, really they are. At Desirags, our aim is NOT to make a 'quick buck' (come on give us some credit...we’ve been planning this for a while now you know!!)  instead we want YOU to buy something that YOU can wear with complete satisfaction and then YOU will hopefully come back wanting more......now that's our real aim!!

Is ordering online secure?

All personal information submitted to desirags.co.uk is fully protected and we promise that it will NOT be sold or given to a third party. We use Google Checkout as a payment processor, which means you have one of the biggest companies in the world securing your information and order and Google Checkout will also NOT disclose any of your card details to us. Your internet browser helps you recognize when you visit a secure page on our site as a small lock icon appears in the bottom right-hand corner of your internet browser. This means the information on the page is protected and safe. Additional online security is provided by SSL (secure socket layer) encryption which prevents any unauthorized transmission of your personal information. My folks are hell-bent on introducing me to a girl/boy that I don’t really want to meet or get to know. Help me?!!

Okayyyyy……anyway……yeah ahem, why don’t you contemplate purchasing our Gandhi Says Peace / Maharishi Says Meditate tees…they may help divert attention for about 10-15 minutes. All else failing discreetly put your folks up for sale on Ebay – ANYTHING sells these days (keep a low reserve and get the buyer to collect them).

Is Desirags on the lookout for models?
If you like a particular design and you want to be seen on the website in that particular tee then send us a picture(s) of yourself to models@desirags.co.uk and we will come back to you promptly. Remember that we like our pictures to be informal rather than professional shots so be sure to send us pictures of you just ‘chillaxing’ or hanging out. If you just want to send us a picture of you in one of our tees that you have purchased, you can do that and we will then put this up in our Photos section.

Can I make changes to my order?
Of course you can, providing you e-mail us at orders@desirags.co.uk within 24 hours of placing your order. But be warned, we are pretty fast at dispatching your shopping tiffins so get your requests in quickly!!

What size t-shirt should I order?

The sizing chart for American Apparels Mens/Unisex t-shirts can be found here. For the Women’s t-shirts please see the following sizing chart here. If you are a lady ordering a shirt from the Mens/Unisex section for yourself then we recommend that you a order a size down (the Extra Small sizes here are primarily for women). Do not be afraid to contact us in order to discuss your size requirements before ordering in order that we can get it right first time – orders@desirags.co.uk

What bags do you use?
We are using cotton bags supplied by Different Fish, a brand that was launched in 2007 to address growing concerns in the promotional and retail sectors for environmental and ethical issues. You can read more about them here. We really are proud to be associated with them!!

Forget Samosas or Jalebis, it’s Ladoos that I really love! What are you doing about that Desirags, huh?
Well we are catering for that design and it should hit the website in September 2008, with a further 9 fresh designs!! Until then feel free to satisfy your desi fetish at your local sweet centre. Alternatively, see your doctor about your troublesome sweet-tooth, it’s not very 2008 you know.

How do I wash & iron my t-shirts?
Now, we are NOT teaching you how to suck eggs but this is quite an important point so bear with us!! If you’re the type to delegate washing duties to your dear mother then we've got to tell you that American Apparel tees are made with pre-shrunk fabric and therefore you should not really get any vast shrink after washing your shirts (maybe 5-7% on the first wash) BUT we are still dealing with cotton here and we would recommend that you wash your shirts INSIDE OUT & WARM and then dry them LOW. So to summarise that’s INSIDE OUT & WARM and then LOWWW. As for ironing your rags, well...always iron them inside out!!

What do you charge for delivery and how will my order be delivered?

We charge a flat-rate of £1 PER ITEM ordered. Your order will be delivered by your local postman as we have gone all out at Desirags by entrusting the Royal Mail with our deliveries!!

I want to make an order but I don’t have a credit/debit card. What alternate payment methods do you accept?

Ok, stay where you are and contact us at orders@desirags.co.uk stating what you would like to order and how YOU would like to pay and we can take things from there. Don’t say we don’t look after you!!

What name will appear on my card/bank statement?

The name on your credit card statement or bank statement will be ‘DESIRAGS’.

I have an idea that Desirags will love!! Do you want to buy it?

Right then, by summer 2009 we aim to have near 80 designs on the website and it would be great for you to help us achieve this. Please submit your idea to us at ideas@desirags.co.uk and if we decide to use your innovation, we will pay you the sum of £40 and you will also be the first to receive that t-shirt after the design has gone into print and is for general sale – now there’s an incentive for all you budding artists and designers!! If you want to help us promote the Desirags brand then we are also looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to join the team in return for various incentives – again please contact us at business@desirags.co.uk and we can discuss things further.

Do you sell carpets?
No we don't!! That's most likely desirugs.co.uk...we are not amused!!

How do I return or exchange an item?

You can return a purchase from us within 28 days of the purchase date as long as all returned items are in an unwashed and unworn condition. Please note that the delivery cost will be non-refundable. Send us an e-mail to orders@desirags.co.uk for complete return instructions and remember to include your name and order number so that we can assist you quickly!!

I think your designs suck, they don’t make me smile at all!! What can I do about it?
Well you can take your comments and thoughts and you can bloody well…..well, spread the word! Be sure to tell all your friends as there truly is no business like ‘word-of-mouth’ business! Hasta La Vista Desi.
