Not so long ago, outside of a city not that far from you and during a bout of man-flu...an idea was conceived (go back and read that sentence in an american movie-trailer style voice - now either you will dish your Star Wars trilogy out or you will settle back and read the rest of this page in the same manner, we really hope it will be the latter).

With the use of a knackered old Bic pen, a scrawny Ikea pencil, a ream of paper, a calculator and a little aubergine a member of the now Desirags team convinced the others that the desi population of today craved something, something different. After a few silly suggestions and interruptions 'Desirags' was born.

At Desirags we are all in our 20's and in our 'spare-time' we are all professionals reluctantly partaking in the good old 9 to 5 rat race during the day and then rushing back in the early evenings to do what we love doing - creating desi t-shirts for the wise and trendy. Having had tested some of our designs out and about in the public domain we can declare that nothing gives us more joy in life than being asked where we got our t-shirt or cotton bag from. It really gives us butterflies, makes us weak at the knees and makes us want to jump up into the air and do a bollywood-style bhangra dance!! A tad sad, we agree. But, oh so true.

We just don't sell desi apparel, we live it. We live it every day. So go out there and spread the good Desirags 'word' and tell random people out on the street or anywhere for that matter that your upper body is a temple and it's a temple because your wearing a Desirags tee...
